Urban Outfitters Illustration Exhibition

It's been a long time!

Full-time work has been the bain of my life and main drain of my creativity. Luckily I've lost my job.

Liam Barrett and I have been working on an illustration exhibtion which will be showcasing amazing talent from the darkest corners of the Southwest to the murkiest ends of London!

Top Deck Art Fair

Soon to come is an art fair in Bristol's very own Top Deck Vinatge Boutique run by Charlotte and Emile. I am going to pop some of my prints in hopefully. I plan to draw some washed up tv "celebrities" in some saucy scenarios... here's a sneak peek...

Camden Exhibition

Late Febrauary/early March I am entering my work into Camden's new 'Rhythm Café' exhibition. Watch this space...

Rhythm Cafe mission statement:

"Our vision is to facilitate our joining together for rhythmical empowerment & uplifting joy using the power of music & dance; sharing musical gifts that bring us beauty, confidence, connection & self-expression. Gifts that transcend cultural difference, linguistic barriers, gender & age!

To create a space in London, where people who love connecting through thedrum and rhythm can hang out, meet others, network, relax, drink somethingwarm on a cold night in a beautiful space, listen to great music, dance,sing, be entertained, feel good & be creative."

Brick Lane exhibition!

I had my work exhibited in LCB surf & skate store on Bethnal Green Road, at the end of Brick Lane. This was my first ever exhibition and it went swimmingly well! It was held by 'Sequence Collective' - www.sequencecollective.com and was curated by Oliver Chapman.

Each poster was handscreen printed.
My good man Louis hooked me up with the exhibition. I think my work was the only first years work there. Other guest artists included 'Zeroten', 'The 5683', 'The Inventory Studio' and 'Come Along Fool'.

The theme to work towards was 'Sequence'.

I found it quite a shame that there were only two or three traditional illustrations on show including my own, the rest were screen prints or digital prints. Computers are merely tools, people nowadays rely too heavily on them.
